Birthday and Harry Potter

It's a special day today, it's my little "sister's" and my birthday and something else that makes it special is the day where a lot of Harry Potter fans and readers have been waiting for. It is the day where Harry Potter - The Half-Blood Prince is on the shelf. It is quite amazing as we decided to go down and have a look and buy the book, we never expect that there are going to have people around and queuing for it. But we were wrong, we have 3 bookshops in town and all of them are opening at midnight because of this. It is amazing to see the people are queuing outside waiting to buy the book, this isn't just children only but with a lot of teens and adult. People are very excited once they've got the book and started to read it on a bench. I never can believe how popular this book can be. Anyways, we've got our copy and it will be a reading weekend for us.

As I mention earlier, it is also my birthday as well as my little "sister" too. I just cannot believe that I am getting older. I just think time flies too quickly. For the past 5 years, I just think time went by too quick and sometimes I just don't feel it's already been 5 years since I lived in UK. I was talking earlier on with 2 of my friend about our past, about things that happened when we were young. It is very interesting when looking back, especially with one of them. I've known her for half of my life (16 years), I can't believe its been that long until I started to think back carefully and it went by so quickly.

It is quite funny as she mentioned in her blog about our friendship, I think she will agree with me that it is describe as a "smooth" friendship, we had our ups and downs, our arguments (good that we don't really have any physical fights =P). But thinking back, we've been through a lot together. She has been always there to protect me in many ways, she will fight back for me if others being unfair to me or treated me badly. As she say we both been cherishing about this friendship and I hope it will last no matter what will happen to both of us, especially our strong bond of trust and honesty were build upon our tears and time. Thank you for your blog girl, I'm sure you know who I am talking about without mentioning your name.

I am sure this 2nd girl know who she, it is unbelievable that these 5 years had gone by. As we were talking on the phone today, we were mentioning about one of my birthday celebrate back then, we or I should say I almost got one of our friend beaten up by my other friend just because I was in tears. I still remember at that moment we were really freaked out and left the club in such a rush, I was really tipsy and we walked around Victoria Station trying to find our friend. Thinking back about it, its actually quite funny but at that time it is just scary. Anyways, I still remember my last birthday celebrate where we went out from club to club and ended back in the place I worked where as usual I was tipsy again. It was such a laugh.

I just want to say, thank you for anyone who remembered my birthday and who either ring me or messaged me today. And I want to thank Kit for his lovely present =D.
