Goodbye Oxford...
I've left Oxford before dinner around 6:30pm, I just think the trip was a bit short as I haven't manage to do everything that I wanted to. I still haven't walked down Cornmarket Street, to see my friend, visit the hotel that I used to work. There are just lots and lots that I want to do. Anyways, I will be going back in September for graduation, I hope I can spend a bit more time in Oxford by then.
Basically my friend and I didn't do much today, just have a good night sleep and get up around lunch time, went to city center to yum cha and I went and did a bit of shopping, such as food and some things that I can't get when I'm in Lancaster. Talking about shopping, I bought a nice outfit, a black jacket and a white pair of jeans. It had been awhile since I dare to wear a pair of light colored trousers. I'm always afraid that it will look too fat on me, but this pair of jeans was just great, it looks nice and I'm happy about it.
We went to a nice pub called Trout Inn yesterday, it was one of my favorite pub as there is this great view of the river and a bridge. In summer time, it is a beautiful place to just sit and talk with friends or just to read. There are peacocks around, which they are very pretty, they just love to wonder around you.
It was just great to see my friend in Oxford and had a long chat during my time in Oxford, girls' chat is something that we haven't done for awhile and it was nice to do all those catching up.
I am looking forward to go back to Oxford in September, hopefully I can go back sometime sooner, to see my friends and visit different places.
